Kuala Lumpur, October 6 – AirAsia has resumed flights linking Kuala Lumpur with Ahmedabad and Amritsar, restoring direct connectivity between Malaysia and two distinctive Indian destinations. The budget carrier will operate both routes four times weekly, giving travellers convenient access to western and northern India from Kuala Lumpur.

Ahmedabad flights resume on 25 October 2026, while Amritsar flights restart on 2 December 2026. Each AirAsia route runs four times a week. The airline said the restored services let guests explore cultural landmarks and visit loved ones more easily, with Kuala Lumpur serving as the Malaysian gateway for both cities.

To mark the resumption, AirAsia is offering promotional all-in one-way fares from RM669 on selected flights, bookable from 5 to 11 October 2026. The Ahmedabad travel period runs from 25 October 2026 to 31 August 2027, while the Amritsar offer covers journeys from 2 December 2026 to 31 August 2027. These promotional fares support early bookings on the restored India routes.
